Source: Miley Cyrus Returned to Liam Hemsworth for "Normalcy and Structure"

Many celebrity gossip followers were surprised by yesterday’s divorce announcement from Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus.
But sources say one person was aware this was coming a long time ago: Miley Cyrus.
“Miley knew about the divorce awhile ago and she’s been taking it really hard,” a friend told Hollywood Life. “Pretty much at the same time, she broke up with [Liam Hemsworth], Hannah Montana was ending and then her parents’ marriage was falling apart.”

In a quest for what this insider describes as “normalcy and structure” in her life, Miley got back together with Liam in September.
“She got super stressed out and that’s really when she started acting out more,” says the source. “Plus, her parents really like him and so she’s trying to make it work. She’s just doing the best she can.”
More than ever, Miley will now be counted on to be the rock of her family. We don’t always agree with her professional decisions, but we do wish her the best in overcoming this personal obstacle.
Parents of Miley Cyrus File for Divorce

After 17 years of marriage, the parents of Miley Cyrus are getting a divorce.
Father Billy Ray is listed as the plaintiff in papers filed yesterday in Tennessee’s Williamson Country Chancery Court. He cites “irreconcilable differences” as the basis for the split.
“As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family,” the couple said in a joint statement “We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers.”
Billy Ray and Tish have three children together – Miley, 17, Braison, 16, and Noah, 10 – while the former also adopted Trace and Brandi, the latter’s kids from a previous relationship.
Miley is close to both her parents. Tish works as her manager, while Billy Ray has been known to come to his daughter’s defense in the face of criticism, even once saying the world is counting on her. We wish this family the best.

We gave this young star reluctant props last week for maturely handling a situation with an aggressive member of the paparazzi, and for speaking out in favor of breast cancer research.
But now we must castigate the actress once more for dressing up like an idiot. Miley isn’t showing too much skin in the photos below, but she is somehow combining the looks of an Indian and a cowgirl. Those boots and that piece of forehead jewelry? Someone call the fashion police. Someone deserves a major citation…

What the Heck is The Big Bang?

When Miley Cyrus performs on stage, she leaves little to the imagination.
But the singer has left us utterly baffled by the following video. It’s a tease for “The Big Bang,” which E! News simply bills as a “project” between her and actor Kevin Zegers (Gossip Girl, Transamerica).
Of whatever will be released on November 1, an on-set source says “there’s LOTS of making out between her and [Kevin]. The shoot didn’t wrap until 2AM! So much work went into it but everyone had fun the whole time.”
Doing what? We don’t know, but the world will soon find out. Check out the following preview.
Miley Cyrus Takes on Paparazzi, Breast Cancer

It’s painful, but true: we must give props to Miley Cyrus for both the videos posted below.
First, the singer clearly learned from this incident and handled a confrontation with a photographer in a mature, reasonable manner over the weekend. She pulled her car over; calmly explained to a paparazzi member that he was driving recklessly and the police were on their way; and then returned to her vehicle.
